HONG KONG SCOUT 105th ANNIVERSAR JAMBOREE

IT ALL STARTS FROM :         23 dec 2016 everyone of us arrived PHNOM PENH international airport at 9:00 am. Our flight was at 11:50 am, so after the check in and staff we sat and waited for our flight. After a long period time of waiting, we all got on the airplane at 11:13am. From CAMBODIA to HONG KONG, the plane takes around 2 hours and 30 mins. We arrived HK at 2:40pm. And yes, we made it from the airport to the campsite at 5:38pm. We had a lot of fun on our first day there. The weather there was extremely cold; it was around 13-14 degrees celsius. It's not that cold actually, but since we're from Cambodia so we consider this as very cold. The weather in Cambodia is usually from 30-35 degrees celsius. When we arrived at the campsite, we started to set up the tents. There were eleven of us so they gave us five tents. Basically, there was one tent that has three people and the rest has only two people. I shared it with my two cousins. After we have  done setting up all the tents and got our place ready,we had our dinner. After that, we decided to rest since we were very, very, and very  tired.  Good night! see you in the morning. 

GOOD MORNING! It was the 24th dec.We all woke up at around 6:30, at that time our teacher woke up the first. He found a way to wake all of us up, he sang and walked around the tents. HEHEHEH!! we got a very funny teacher who sings every morning to wake all of us up. We had bread with hotdog for breakfast. It was so good. OKAY! later that morning, around 9:30 all of us went to the arena in order to join the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was kind of short, but we enjoyed it very much. Though, we had to sit on the grass and guess what? at that time, it was kind of drizzling. That's what made the opening ceremony more fun. lol! The opening ceremony was only in the morning. WAIT WAIT...a bit before the opening ceremony we met some HK's red cross team. They were very nice and friendly to us. Okay, let's continue....We had our lunch at around 11:30. We had a bit of rest. At around 2:00, we went to continue our activities. We had lots of actives to finish during the four days of our camping. We had to complete each activity and when we completed all of it, we can get the badges.

Concert

Again, Good morning. It was on the 25th. We all woke up at around 6:00. We all were very excited because it was  outside activity day which means we got\ to go outside the campsite and discover the place. We decided to go to the Peak Galleria.

Mr. Kwan. One of my fav person at the campsite. He's very kind, helpful and sharing. Thanks for taking care of us for 5 days.  

Later that evening, we had our dinner and got prepared for our Christmas night. For dinner we cooked our own food, we went for pasta. It was very nice but one thing that made our dinner even nicer  was that they gave us chocolate pudding in order to celebrate Christmas.They were celebrating Christmas at the arena.  Luckily we were fast and be able to get the best view of the concert. Also they shared free concert lights, christmas hats and many  more stuffs. It was an amazing night spending time with all of my babes.

Good Morning! 26th dec.  Since it was the last day for us, we decided to finish all of the activities  up.

Later that afternoon, when it was around 3:00 we were back at our place. We had to get ready for our traditions day. Which means everyone have to wear clothes that represent their country. It was very fun walking around the whole campsite and we get to know the traditional clothes of other countries.

 Hi again. 27th dec means that was the very last day of camping. We go prepared. At around 9:00 they had the closing ceremony at the arena. The closing ceremony was done at around 10:30. We went around saying Good bye to our friends. At around 12:00 we left the campsite heading back to the airpot. It was the saddest moment of my life, i seriously didn't want to leave. Those past 5 days were like a blink of an eye. :[ :[

We arrived Cambodia at around 5:00 in the evening. I have to say the trip was about seven moths ago, but it was the best memories in my entire life. The best one. We've made so many friends.
